Daily Word 5/1/2021

Today I focus on everything in my life that makes me prosperous. So much more than material security, prosperity is the peace that comes from the knowledge that God is my Source.

When I keep this truth uppermost in my mind, my awareness of my prosperity grows. My relationships with family and friends show me I am rich in love. My talents and my interests lead me to abundant opportunities to learn and grow. And the divine ideas I claim in my prayer time give me the most precious awareness of prosperity—the knowledge that I create my world through the power of my thoughts.

With a grateful heart, I celebrate every manifestation of prosperity in my mind, my heart, and my world.

For to all those who have, more will be given, and they will have an abundance.—Matthew 25:29

Daily Word 4/30/2021

I am blessed with spiritual powers that I use to create my world. As I choose my thoughts, feelings, words, and actions, I am using my powers creatively and with intention.

For instance, I express the power of love to contribute to a world of harmony and peace. I connect with my restorative power of life to send healing energy throughout my body. I use my power of understanding to deepen my awareness of my spiritual nature. When faced with a decision to make, I discern the options available to me through my power of wisdom, and I use my power of will to choose the best one. My power of faith helps me believe those I hold in prayer are abundantly blessed.

I am a divine being, blessed with spiritual gifts that make me powerful beyond measure.

For the kingdom of God depends not on talk but on power.—1 Corinthians 4:20

Daily Word 4/29/2021

There is a place inside me that is untouched by the chaos of the world, a part entirely centered in the awareness of the divine love and unlimited possibility that is God. No matter what is happening outside of me, I can reach this space by pausing, breathing deeply, and anchoring my consciousness there. As I do these things, I find calm in discord. Within turmoil, I sense serenity. Feeling lost, I am suddenly found.

I am never alone because God is within me. I am never past hope because I am within God. Right at the center of who and what I am is my guiding light, every possible solution already known. I stand serenely within any challenge because I stand within God.

Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times in all ways. The Lord be with all of you.—2 Thessalonians 3:16

Daily Word 2/20/2021

Choosing forgiveness blesses me.

Forgiveness is a sign of strength. It’s also an ability to look beyond my personal view of a situation to a higher view, one that incorporates other people and differing perspectives.

Often, taking the high road is not the popular choice and can even be uncomfortable. Choosing forgiveness is a higher road, a divinely inspired one. This road benefits me and may even benefit those whom I forgive. It helps me move on from discomfort or even anger to a place of peace and acceptance.

God is my source of insight and strength, giving me the courage and power to forgive. Today, I choose to take the high road through forgiveness, knowing that it will heal my heart and bring me peace.

From the end of the earth I call to you, when my heart is faint. Lead me to the rock that is higher than I.—Psalm 61:2

Such a simple word that encompasses all of it; whatever “it” is. I know that my whole life I’ve found my worth in the doing. The doing good in school, doing sports, doing my chores, doing my religious responsibilities, doing all the things that are possible to try to affirm to myself that I am worthy of love, worthy of taking up space, worthy of friendship, worthy of existing. So as I come into the acceptance of myself I find more and more my worth isn’t in the doing, it’s in the being. Being me. Being all of me.
