Such a simple word that encompasses all of it; whatever “it” is. I know that my whole life I’ve found my worth in the doing. The doing good in school, doing sports, doing my chores, doing my religious responsibilities, doing all the things that are possible to try to affirm to myself that I am worthy of love, worthy of taking up space, worthy of friendship, worthy of existing. So as I come into the acceptance of myself I find more and more my worth isn’t in the doing, it’s in the being. Being me. Being all of me.
