THE PEACE OF GOD IS MINE TO CALL UPON ALWAYS.

I remember the Bible story of Jesus and his disciples in a boat during a storm. Fearing for their lives, the disciples woke Jesus, who had slept while the storm raged. He calmed the storm with a simple, “Peace, be still.”

I take that lesson to heart, realizing inner peace is not about being calm in settled surroundings; it’s about standing in the tempest steady, strong, and centered in faith. Whatever the disturbance, I pause, calling on the Christ presence within. If a storm rages in my mind or heart, I envision the choppy waves being calmed by the love and light of God within me. As the sky clears, dark gray yields to vivid blue. Trusting the presence of God is in and through all things, I declare, “Peace, be still.”

Peace himself give you peace at all times in all ways. The Lord be with all of you.
