Boldly, I stand firm in my faith in God.
Being a brave person does not mean that you never feel fear. But it does mean that I don’t stop or get discouraged by my fearful feelings. I don’t judge myself for those feelings, but I refuse to give in to them.
My courage comes when I lean into my present moment awareness instead of running from it or pushing it away from me. If I have feelings of avoidance or shyness, I surrender to the Christ in me, the perfection of God expressing itself uniquely as me. I trust that this Presence will give me the courage to be strong, no matter what obstacles I face. The Christ in me is my guide and my protection. He is the source of my courage and keeps me firm in God.
For God has not given us a spirit of cowardice, but of power and love and self-control.
