The indwelling Christ is my ever-present source of comfort.
Ah, the feel of a cozy blanket, the taste of delicious food when I’m hungry, a listening ear when I want to be heard, or rest when I’m weary-all of these things give me comfort. My steadfast faith tells me no matter the circumstance, I will always find consolation and solace whenever I need them.
I believe God is in and through all things, and I never face anything alone. I know there is always a way to rise above every earthly challenge.
If I ever feel adrift, I close my eyes, take a deep breath, and feel the divine presence radiating from my heart into the world. Each heartbeat heightens my awareness of the Christ presence within, anchoring me in comfort.
We have this hope, a sure and steadfast anchor of the soul, a hope that enters the inner shrine behind the curtain.
