I AM ON AN AWE-FILLED JOURNEY.
It may be easy to be in awe of majestic creations. Natural phenomena such as mountains and canyons, glorious creatures such as lions or elephants, or bold, soaring architectural marvels that distinguish a city’s skyline kindle my imagination and fill my heart.
Today I discover other awesome findings that may have escaped my notice. I pause to appreciate the intricate pattern on a butterfly’s translucent wings or the softness and muted colors of a flower’s petals. I listen to the rainfall and smell the sweetness of the freshly cleansed air.
The world feels new to me as I bring my full attention to its wonders, large and small. My awe draws me closer to God and deepens my gratitude for my life and for all life.
